Friday: Height Issues, Resumes, Scared of Relationships

What a fast week! Sunday I turn 21 and I can't wait; sadly I have school Monday. But today is Friday and I have some advice for anyone who needs it :)

You have nothing to worry about. Girls stop growing I believe at the age of 19. And you even if you've stopped growing, that's okay. I'm 21 and I'm 5'0. My best friend is 6'7, and I understand how you feel but you know what you shouldn't let your height bring you down. You may be short but there's no reason to feel short. I don't feel 5'0 tall; if you stand up straight and keep your head up it won't matter how short you are. :)

Breakfast!

Breakfast is very important, it's the start to a healthy day if we eat a hearty healthy meal in the morning. Your body burns calories throughout the day and you need a certain amount to help your body get started in the morning. If you haven't been eating breakfast, and I am one of those people who don't eat first thing in the morning, then you should start. Even if it's something small, some people recommend drinking orange juice to get some nutrients in that tummy of yours.
I am currently taking aerobic walking in the morning so getting something in my stomach is very important. There was a girl in my class who didn't eat and she did faint in class; I wouldn't want that to happen to me or anyone.
So make sure you something in the morning whether it be some fruit or juice or even a smoothie. A healthy day starts with a healthy meal. So if you start out right try to finish right.

I didn't have a bad day today but someone in the world might have and if they happen to stumble on this blog I want to be able to make them smile.

Making Friends?

Do you remember how simple it was in kindergarten when you just said hello to someone and they were automatically friends with you? Okay maybe not that quickly but still friendship happened pretty fast and lasted for quite sometime.

Friday: Insecurity, Soccer Team, Abusive Relationship

It's been such a long week. I'm so happy its Friday! Just so you know the last question is really long but it could help someone.

My boyfriend is making me uncomfortable on purpose, am I overacting or is he being an asshole?
He knows I'm very uncomfortable with how I feel about my looks, and he tells me that I'm beautiful which is sweet and all, but when we watch movies, he's ALWAYS stating how beautiful these celebrities are when I look nothing close to as beautiful they are. Am I over reacting, or is he just being a jerk knowing that it hurts me?

Dear Liabug
I think you're over reacting. You may not be as beautiful as those celebrities yourself but maybe to him you are as beautiful as them and possibly even more beautiful in his eyes.
If you feel that he's being a jerk about it though, let him know that you'd appreciate it if he didn't say they were beautiful around you. 

More Than One Guy?

Most of my life I've had to deal with liking more than one guy. It wasn't until I got older that I finally narrowed it down to like two guys then one guy. I remember I use to like three guys at once and all of them were best friends. So how do you choose?

Part of My Life: College

So I'm in my third year of college and I still haven't been able to motivate myself to try with my online classes but I want things to be different this quarter. I want to make the effort and know that I'm getting the grade I truly deserve because of my studying and my knowledge of the subject. I am taking three classes this quarter; Aerobic Walking,  Business Law and A.P Human Survey. So how do I balance all this and keep up with my work at home? Schedule.

Boy Advice: Dealing with His Best Girl Friend

I'm the other girl. Wait let me rephrase that, I'm your boyfriend's best friend. He's my best friend; the guy I go to when I don't know who else I can talk to. I understand you two are in a relationship but our friendship was way before your relationship. So if you have a problem with me, get to know me first.

If you're in a new a relationship or have been in a relationship and don't feel comfortable with your boyfriend's best girl friend, don't be unless she's given you a reason to. I've always tried to make an effort to befriend my friends' girlfriends but a lot of the times they don't feel comfortable with me. If you're going to be with this guy then you should at least make an effort to get know the people in his life besides his family. You are going to be part of his life but with his life comes other people. Deal with it and not be against it.
I know its hard but for his sake and your sake as well befriend his best girlfriend. She's part of his life and sometimes she needs him to be part of her's. Don't assume something is going on between them. Know the facts first. Trust is how you deal with this. Trust and communication.

The Secret Circle?

After seeing the series premier of The Secret Circle I'm not sure how I feel about it. I like Britt, she's probably one of my favorite upcoming actresses but I am not too thrilled about shows set in Washington. However I am giving it a chance because I do like the character, Cassie Blake's style in the show.

Friday: Making Friends, Getting a Guy, Guy Roller-Coaster

It's an emotional Friday for me. I got a reminder that the death anniversary of a guy I knew in high school is coming up this Halloween. I know it's not for awhile but it's just really sad because he could have been an amazing pro-athlete. Just as a heads up and mostly a reminder for me sometime next month there will be a song dedicated to him in the Song of The Week tab of my blog. I love the Vampire Diaries and I can't wait for the rest of the season. The episode actually made me cry at the end. After watching the first episode of the new season of Vampire Diaries I was inspired by Elena's birthday outfit. She was so pretty and I loved the nude pink shoes. Part of My Life: Losing a Friend?

I've been best friends with Austin for five years. I tell him everything and lately it seems like he doesn't tell me anything. I call, he doesn't answer or call or text for days. I go on vacation and he texts once and doesn't call to see if I'm having fun. At this point I'm feeling like we're no longer friends. That I have no one tell my problems to and no one to relate or understand me.

What to do when most of your friends have had their first kiss or first boyfriend and you haven't? Don't discourage because it will happen and it will be memorable. We all get our firsts at different ages and that is what is normal; not the age we get it but that we get it. We're all different and that's what makes it okay to not be normal. What is normal? Who says that you have to have your first kiss when all your friends do? Who says you have to be in a relationship when all your friends are? Or who said we have to date in high school or middle school? Being normal is so overrated.

Friday: College BF, Privacy, and Weight Loss

My boyfriend is in college and life sucks!!
I'm a junior in high school and my boyfriend (whom I LOVE) is in college this year an hour and a half away. I get to see him like once a week, but were used to spending like every day and night together, so that hurts enough and to top it all of he's a HUGE party-er.
He goes out EVERY night and gets super super drunk and wont text me till like 12 the next day.
I know he won't cheat on me, but it still KILLS me when he goes out and parties.
Would it bother anyone else? I try talking to him about it, but he doesn't understand. I don't know what to do. :/ I cant do this anymore, but I love him to pieces.

August Faves!

August was such a long month for me. I didn't do much, just the usual Monthly Brother Sister day, weekend shopping with my mom, and waited and waited for the week of Seaside. Which was last week and I could have gone the whole week but Joshua and Daniel didn't want to go stay in the scary house on 8th street and I didn't want to go without them. However we spent the night for one night and had a great time. We did all the things we wanted to do that week in one day; bon fire, Funland, flying kites, swimming, Bingo at Funland, ice cream, shopping, and other little random things. Anyway, let's get started with my favorite things for this month.
